Serve the Community
Listed below are ways in which our church family is serving the community.  If you are interested in participating, please contact the person listed with your ministry of interest.

 

Lebanon Food Pantry
Description:
Lebanon Food Pantry, located at 190 New St., provides groceries for over 250 families each month.  Our church volunteers with this ministry every first Wednesday morning of each month (9am-12 noon) and every second Wednesday evening of each month (6pm-8pm).

IHN Ministry for the Homeless
Description: Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) ministers to the homeless of Warren County.  Our church houses families four times a year.  Volunteers can bring meals, set up/tear down, spend the night, do laundry, and provide transportation.

Picnic in the Park
Description:
At the beginning of each school year, we host a picnic at Pleasant Square Park.  Besides cooking food and preparing desserts, volunteers are also needed to lead games and activities for the neighborhood children.

Christmas Food Baskets
Description:
Each year, our church puts together 80 Christmas Baskets full of food for folks around the community.  This project is a part of the outreach of Lebanon Community Services.  Throughout the Advent season, church members are asked to bring in food.  The baskets are then put together and delivered the week of Christmas.

Habitat for Humanity
Description:
Several members of our church are involved with Habitat for Humanity.  This is an
ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from Warren County.

Kairos Prison Ministry
Description:
Kairos is a prison ministry that takes place at the Lebanon Correctional Institute and the Warren Correctional Institute.  Many of our church members have served on these ministry teams.  Volunteers can also be involved by baking cookies, making placemats (children's artwork), and donating money.

Otterbein Auxiliary
Description:
This group raises finances to support residents living in the Otterbein Retirement Community.  They help the elderly cover the expenses of every day living that would not be covered otherwise.
